New Technology of Cars using Mixed Reality

                               Ford is using  Microsoft HoloLens to let designers quickly model out changes to cars, trucks, and SUVs.  This feature  allow you the changes on top of an existing physical vehicle, instead of the traditional clay model approach to car design.

According to Ford is using clay models  to design the cars but Hololens  desgn  the cars in physical and virtual reality using  3 dimensional. This reduces the process of making and reviewing changes from weeks down to days, which saves  massive time in designing of cars.

 HoloLens   include the recording and sharing of high-tech virtual mixed media “sticky notes,” it is a digitalized in a clever way which can adjoin specific spots of the vehicle.

This is not first time in implementing  mixed reality and virtual in developing the cars: Electric Tesla competitor Lucid told to Tech Crunch that  they’ve used HTC Vive and VR extensively in designing their vehicle. It helps in reducing the time and cost between prototypes.

Microsoft is planning to release this Windows Mixed Reality launch event on October 3rd in San Francisco. Many companies   like Dell, Acer, HP, Lenovo, and Asus are all creating headsets. The cost is less with $299. Mixed Reality headsets and  Windows 10 Fall Creators Update with Mixed Reality support  will be available from october 17.
