Amazon AWS And Microsoft Together Builds Deep Learning Called 'Gluon'

New open source methods of Deep Learning with Amazon AWS and Microsoft together build 'Gluon' . This Gluon helps the developers easy way to develop machine learning and deep learning techniques.

This Gluon makes easy way of learning with the collection of pre-built, optimized neural network components.  Developers who are new to machine learning will find this interface more familiar to traditional code, since machine learning models can be defined and manipulated just like any other data structure.

Deep learning engines like Apache MXNet, Microsoft Cognitive Toolkit and TensorFlow have emerged to help optimize and speed the training process.

“The potential of machine learning can only be realized if it is accessible to all developers. Today’s reality is that building and training machine learning models require a great deal of heavy lifting and specialized expertise,” said Swami Sivasubramanian, VP of Amazon AI.

We believe it is important for the industry to work together and pool resources to build technology that benefits the broader community,” said Eric Boyd, corporate vice president of Microsoft AI and Research. “This is why Microsoft has collaborated with AWS to create the Gluon interface and enable an open AI ecosystem where developers have freedom of choice.

Gluon is in 4 key innovations:
1.Friendly API
2.Dynamic networks
3.The algorithm can define the network
4. High performance operators for training

To start with Gluon

Gluon is available today in Apache MXNet, with support coming for the Microsoft Cognitive Toolkit in a future release. You can learn from today in AWS Deep Learning AMIs and also in Github .
